Here's how you do it

  • Cut apricots into very small pieces and soak them in warm water for 30 minutes
  • Place oats, pumpkin seeds and coconut shreds into a food processor and process them until they are in a powder format
  • Mix the age-appropriate milk powder
  • Add powdered oats, pumpkin seeds, and coconut shreds to a pot. Add the soaked apricots, milk powder, and 240 ml of water
  • Let them cook until they boil and then decrease the heat stirring frequently until they are very well cooked. Around 5-6 minutes
  • After the porridge is done, you can put it into a baby food processor to turn it into a puree or a hand blender until it is very creamy
  • Add a dash of cinnamon to the mixture and serve it cold or warm

This recipe contains oats which is a gluten free grain that is high in fibers and essential for digestion and is a great prebiotic which promotes a healthy development of the microbiota for optimal digestion and immunity. Cinnamon contains antioxidants and provides sweetness to food.
