This recipe contains oats which is a gluten free grain that is high in fibers and essential for digestion and is a great prebiotic which promotes a healthy development of the microbiota for optimal digestion and immunity. Dried apricots are an excellent fiber source and also one of the highest sources of iron among dried fruits. It also adds sweetness to the porridge. Pumpkin seeds are a nutrition powerhouse that contain iron and other essential vitamins and minerals. It is one of the highest iron containing source among seeds. Cinnamon contains antioxidants and provides sweetness to food.
