Vegetable puree - for baby

A great recipe for homemade vegetable puree with potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli, which stimulates your baby's sense of taste. The vegetable puree is suitable for babies aged 6-9 months.

Here's how you do it

  • Cook cauliflower, potatoes and broccoli in unsalted water and covered for approx. 20 min. or until they are tender.
  • Pour the water from the vegetables and steam them uncovered until dry.
  • Take a few vegetable bouquets from the cooking pot and keep them for finger food.
  • Mash the vegetables with, for example, a whisk until the mixture is uniformly smooth.
  • Take the cooking pot off the heat and stir in the mixture with the vegetables. Also add the butter.
  • Mix it all properly and serve the vegetable puree with broccoli, cauliflower and fruit puree.

Freezing tips

You can advantageously make a larger portion and freeze the puree down in a frozen food packaging before you add butter and supplement mixture. Stir supplement mixture and butter in the reheated puree just before serving.
