Buns - for baby

Buns for your baby and for the rest of the family. These easy buns are based on a porridge mix and are delicious for breakfast, lunch or to be put into the lunch box. The buns are suitable for babies aged 9-12 months.

Here's how you do it

  • Pour the boiling water into a large bowl and stir the porridge mixture into it.
  • Add water, yeast and eggs, and mix it all properly.
  • Add flour, salt and butter (keep some flour).
  • Stir everything properly and knead the dough for approx. 10 min. - preferably in a high speed mixer. Let the dough rise covered for approx. 45 min.
  • Pour the dough out onto a floured table and sprinkle it with the flour.
  • Cut approx. 24 buns, ex. with a knife, and gently place them on 2 plates with baking paper.
  • Bake the buns until golden brown and let them cool on a baking tray.
Baking time
  • Approx. 12 min at 107° Centigrade.

Variation

You can also use the other porridge mixes for making of the buns, for instance whole grain porridge with carrot and pumpkin.
